On March 15th, I'm going back to my country! About 2 weeks later, on March 29th, I will come back to LA for the next term. It takes about 14 hours from LA to Taiwan, oh...it will be a hard time!
After coming back to LA, maybe the next time going back to home will be the end of this year...!
I miss my family, friends, dogs, cats, foods...etc in my hometown!
For me, living without my family is not very difficult, When I was in Taiwan, sometimes I wanted to leave my home and live by myself, try to be indepandent. Now, sometimes worry about my family if they are fine? maybe I'm a little bit miss them!
I appreciate my parents support me money to come here for study, thanks! I love you ^^

chinese new year
Now is tradictional new year in my country. It's for family reunion. Everyone should return to their hometown and get together with family. During the new year days, we have 6 day vacation! "new year eve"~"the fifth day".
For the new year eve and "the first day", people usually go back to their homtown and appreciate the ancesors, we prepare a lot of food for them. After, the family will have dinner together, often with a round table, it means reunion. Then the parents give their children "red envelope", which with money in. Children often let off firecrakers or firework with each other.
The second day of chinese new year, married daughters go back to thier original home. There is a tale, daughter can not go back to the home which they come from on the new year eve and the first day of new year; otherwise, their parents will be unlucky in the rest of new year.
From the third day of chinese new year, people have fun with their family and friends, also prepare for the next year.
